1. What this policy covers
This policy covers paid subscriptions only — ₹299/week and ₹999/month, sold identically to every user regardless of gender. What you pay for is access to new matches (the dating gate), not chat and not per-message. The quiz, your results, and every personality layer are free forever and are never part of a purchase — there is nothing to cancel or refund there.
2. Billing cycle and renewal
A weekly plan renews every 7 days, a monthly plan every 30 days, automatically, at the price in force at the time of renewal, until you cancel. You are told before signup which plan and price you are agreeing to.
3. How to cancel
Cancel any time from inside the app (Settings › Subscription › Cancel) — cancellation takes as few taps as subscribing did. No retention call, no support ticket, and no reason required.
4. What happens after you cancel
Cancelling stops the NEXT renewal only. You keep full access to matching for the rest of the cycle you already paid for — we do not cut you off early, and we do not owe you a partial refund for the unused part of a cycle you choose to cancel voluntarily. A match you already made, and its chat, is never revoked — during the subscription, after you cancel, or after a subscription lapses unrenewed.
5. Match-gated charging — no matches, no charge
A cycle is only charged if at least one match actually lands in it. If a cycle produces zero matches, that cycle is waived and is not treated as owed. Store subscriptions renew on the store's own schedule and we cannot stop a renewal mid-cycle, so if a charge was captured for a zero-match cycle, write to us and we refund it in full.
6. Fewer introductions than promised — repaid automatically
On a paid plan the weekly introductions are assigned by us — three people per weekly cycle, unless you have withdrawn the introductions consent that comes with your dating opt-in — so delivery is our responsibility, not luck. If a cycle delivers fewer people than promised, the shortfall is repaid automatically on the billing rail that charged you: your paid period is extended in proportion to what was missed (a subscription renewal deferral on Google Play, a renewal-date extension on the Apple App Store). No request, ticket, or support conversation is needed, and this sits on top of Section 5 — a cycle with zero matches is still simply waived.
7. Refund eligibility beyond the match-gated guarantee
Once a cycle has delivered at least one match, that charge is treated as earned — matches, not chat, are the product, and the product was delivered. Outside the match-gated guarantee, we consider refunds case by case for: a duplicate or erroneous charge, a technical failure on our side that genuinely prevented you from using a cycle you were charged for, or a charge that went through after you had already cancelled. We do not refund for change of mind once matches have landed.
8. How to request a refund
Write to our billing support at grievances@sagewabbit.com with your registered phone/email and the charge you're asking about. We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and give you a decision — approved or declined, with the reason — within 7 business days. For a purchase made through Google Play or the App Store you can also use the store's own refund flow (Google Play order history, or Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com) — whichever you find easier; the timelines above apply to requests made to us.
9. How an approved refund is paid
Refunds are processed through the store that took your payment. On Android, an approved refund is issued back to your original payment method through Google Play; how quickly it reflects depends on Google and your bank, not on us. On iOS, Apple is the merchant of record — refunds for App Store purchases are requested from and issued by Apple, and we cannot issue one ourselves; where a refund decision is ours to make (Sections 5 and 7) we make it and tell you exactly how to claim it from the store that holds your money.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the change applies to future cycles only — never retroactively to a cycle you have already paid for.
