Why it's built this way, how matching works without faces, the lines we won't cross, and what's live today.
Readable people, not more of them
Every product in this space answers the same way: here are more people. That has never been the shortage. The shortage is being able to tell, of the people already in front of you, who is actually who. And the one surface everything is sorted by, a face, carries almost none of that information. Worse, it carries a cost: in a photo-first market the pressure to keep "fixing" your appearance falls hardest on women, and seeing more options makes people reject more rather than choose better. So we took the photo out of the sorting entirely. The engine never sees a face, and neither does the other person, until the two of you open it together.
Measure what actually matters
Your character on its own is a weak predictor of a relationship. The research is fairly settled on that, and we don't pretend otherwise. So your kirdaar is the starting point, not the whole answer; the layers after it look at the things that actually make or break a relationship.
A number that doesn't lie
Hero, Heroine or Lead: you pick who you want to meet, and someone shows up only if you are in their pick too. Nobody sees your pick. And until you've both done the layers, the number says out loud how much it is still guessing. Most products round that uncertainty away because a confident number converts better; we show it, because the alternative is lying to someone about a person. The engine cannot promise love. It can only tell you where things will be easy and where they'll take work.
And when two people have both done that work, what happens then?
Matching, without faces
"How do you match without photos?" is the question everyone asks. So here is what happens, rung by rung.
You see a character, not a face.
Discovery cards carry archetype art. The block sits in the database, not the app: the photo column is excluded from the view your phone is served, so it never leaves the server before a reveal.
The engine measures fit, not looks.
Your matches come from your answers, never from your photo, and nobody can pay to be shown more. Faith, if you share it, is about how you live it, never which religion or caste you belong to.
A number that admits what it doesn't know.
Early on, with only a layer or two done, the score says so: "still a blurry picture." As you both fill in more, it sharpens. We would rather show you an honest 62 than a confident lie.
You talk first, and you open together.
Chat brings prompts you both answer, sealed. Neither of you sees the other's answer until both have written, so nobody can peek or copy. Six of those, and the next door unlocks.

The window opens only when you both choose it. Either of you can start that choice, and either can pause it too. Then you each record one line, "what did you like most about them?", as a voice note from both sides. Then both photos unseal in the same second, on the same screen, next to those lines.
And if it isn't it, it ends kindly.
Closing a chat after the reveal means picking a parting line. Quietly disappearing isn't a button here.

All 12 layers, all the results, free forever. Five layers are the journey, at your own pace, no clock; the other seven layers are an invitation, whenever you feel like it. None of it gets locked later.
A photo is never part of matching
Not in ranking, not in deciding who you get shown. Not ever.
We never paywall a conversation in progress
If money is ever charged, it's only for meeting new people. A conversation already underway stays open, always.
No manufactured urgency
No fake countdowns, no invented scarcity. When we say new people are arriving, real new people are arriving.
You leaving is our win
When someone finds their person, they leave, and that was the point. Our income does not depend on keeping anyone here.
One question left: why cinema at all?

Understanding yourself is hard, but it gets easier when the truth arrives in the language of a character who feels instantly familiar. "Your attachment style is anxious" doesn't land with anyone. "You're that one" lands with everyone. Cinema is the language we all share; that's why this app is built in it.
